Celebrated my wedding at The Fairmont Whistler of August this year. I was introduced to Shayla as we decided we NEEDED a videographer as photos simply weren't enough.Shayla is amazing. Simply put, she cares. Not only is that extremely evident in the final product - by which we were blown away- but the fact that she spends a significant amount of her time, leading up to the actual day, by getting to know the couple, as people. I feel like that time she spends getting acquainted translates to the work/editing she does. She has a feel for what the couple like because she's already put in that time.Anytime you collaborate with someone for the first time, especially something as massive as ones wedding, you are naturally a bit nervous of the process / potential outcome, but in this case, and it isn't hyperbole, she went above and beyond on every level and delivered on everything she said she would. The final product was awesome: super well edited and hit every aspect of our wedding weekend. She put some serious hours into this.
